Peter is right, but I think his perspective is slightly askew GJJ. in my class who take the train Downs, standing, castles, self defense. GJJ / BJJ is more than ground combat. Better here. TKD as it does not feel fair, but it certainly has the best kick in the majority of Member States

Answer to your question in my words, my first choice would be judo because you can use the average thugs wild adrenalin against him if he runs or when a thief grabbed his jacket and tries to control you.

Most people say judo is not alive because they were found. and if you are an attacker to take control and put it on the ground is not necessary to strike. and I am sure that no one can reasonably form the floor, as appropriate.

Judo is also much brighter. About 95% of the area of the JJB. do not use locks legs though. Most teachers did not indicate whether a dojo sport competition, concentrated, however, show some of that for self-defense.

Jujutsu Japanese art of the samurai. I do not know about, but from what I understand, there are plenty of wrist locks and chokes and strikes and the fight against the race. an art very well, but outside of Japan, you will not find a great school. JJJ and belongs to the arts, which really do hurt McDojo.

What would be the best for street fighting, I say, are almost identical. I try to do everything if I could. JJJ help you to achieve them will help you to Judo, BJJ and the ground will help you, they stop at the floor.
